Ubisoft has finally announced the release of its 2D JRPG-style title, Child of Light. The game will be released on the 30th of April for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U.
The game developed by Ubisoft Montreal was created using the same engine that was used in Rayman Legends, Ubi-Art Framework, which allows producers to create a game that it's like a 'playable painting'.
Child of Light takes place in the world of Lemuria, where players will be playing as Pricess Aurora, a girl tasked with bringing back the sun, moon, and the stars in order to save her kingdom. The title, inspired by Final Fantasy VI, will feature turn-based combat, similar to classic JRPG, as well as a co-op mode.
Child of Light will be available for $14.99/€14.99/£11.99 across all platforms.
