Electronic Arts has revealed today that the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall was delayed 2 weeks, with its release date now being on 8th of April in US, and on the 11th of April in Europe. This is the second delay of the Xbox 360 version, which was originally scheduled to be released alongside the Xbox One and PC versions a week ago.
Regarding the delay, EA states that it will use the additional time to improve the quality of the game. "Now, I want to update everyone on Titanfall for Xbox 360 in development with Bluepoint Games. I've been playing the game a lot, and it is fantastic. But we see a few things that can be made even better, so we're giving Bluepoint a little more time to do just that and deliver an epic Titanfall experience for Xbox 360 players," said EA Studios EVP Patrick Soderlund.
With Richard Baker, Respawn engineer, stating a few days ago that the team was still working on frame-rate issues, and the rumours stating the Xbox 360 version would run at only 30fps and sub-720p, it's no surprise that this version had to be delayed.
