Amy Hennig, the former creative director of the Uncharted series, has joined Electronic Art's Visceral Games. Henning left Naughty Dog earlier last month, where she had been working on the next Uncharted title.

According to Steve Papoutsis, General Manager of Visceral Games, Hennig will be working as creative director on the team that is developing the Star Wars project. "As both a colleague and friend, I've always admired her approach to creative development "“ focusing on nailing down the soul of a game first, and then making sure the writing, the gameplay, the design and the art comes together to form a unified, interactive experience for the player," said Papoutsis.

Hennig also stated that she's happy to be back to EA, and continues on saying that she's excited to begin this new stage in her career. "It's a privilege to have the opportunity to contribute to the Star Wars universe, after it's had such a formative influence on my life," said Hennig.

Hennig was leading the development of the next Uncharted title when she left Naughty Dog, and it's not yet known who will replace her as creative director. Details regarding Visceral's Star Wars title have yet to be revealed.
