DICE has announced that the release of Battlefield 4's Naval Strike DLC pack, which was scheduled to release on the 8th of April, has been delayed a week for non-Premium members. The producer has said that the reason for this delay was the pack's delay on Xbox One and PC for premium members.
DICE had previously stated that Premium members would always have access to new content two weeks earlier than non-Premium members, and with the recent delay of the pack on Xbox One and PC, having those two weeks of exclusivity wouldn't be possible. Although the delay affects all platforms, there's a positive side to this as it will give more time for DICE to fix the bugs present in the game's multiplayer.
Naval Strike will introduce four new multiplayer maps: Lost Islands, Wave Breaker, Nansha Strike, and Operation Mortar. In addition, the pack will also feature the Carrier Assault game mode. Non-Premium members will be able to get their hands on Naval Strike for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, on the 15h of April for $14.99/£11.99/€14.99.
