Capcom has announced in their forecast for the ongoing fiscal year, that they expect Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate to ship 3.9 million copies before the 31st of March, 2015.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is scheduled to launch this year in Japan on the Nintendo 3DS, with a launch in North America and Europe towards the start of 2015.
Its predecessor, Monster Hunter 4, has already released in Japan. It has so far managed to ship 4.1 million copies and will skip a Western release in favour for its Ultimate version. Bearing that in mind, Capcom's sales predictions seem quite conservative, but they are surely assuming that fewer gamers in the Japanese market will pick the game up.
