EA and DICE have announced a special event called Battlefest, a "festival built for gamers," which will start this Saturday. During this event, which will last for a month, DICE will offer weekly rewards, organize contests, release new additions to the multiplayer, and more.
During the weekend, players that log in to play Battlefield 4's multiplayer will receive double XP. Saturday also marks the beginning of the screenshot competition, where players are asked to send a screenshot based on the day's theme requirement. Each daily winner will receive an AMD graphics card, $50 gift card to the DICE Store, and a Battlefield 4 Premium membership on their platform of choice.
There will also be a 'massive prize' for the winner of DICE's Stunt Video competition, although no details about the prize were revealed. In this competition, players will need to send DICE a video of their best stunts that can only be done in Battlefield 4. Those interested in taking part in this event have until the 2nd of August to send their video stunts.
Other additions of the Battlefest event include weekly free camo unlocks and more double XP days. There will also be community missions with different objectives each weeks. If completed, all the players that logged in during that week will receive a free gold Battlepack.
"And there it is, a month filled with fun activities and prizes to be given that we hope you'll enjoy. But that's not all, we have more surprises in store that we're excited to share in the next couple weeks. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled. Happy Summer Gaming," said DICE.
With so many additions, prizes, contests, and the release of the Dragon's Teeth DLC happening next week, this Summer looks promising for Battlefield 4's players.
