Bandai Namco is bringing another well-known anime series to consoles this fall. Titled Digimon All-Star Rumble, players will be able to select and grow their Digimon by participating in tournaments.
After years of peace, the inhabitants of the Digital World decide to hold the very first Digimon Evolution Tournament in order that Digimon everywhere can Digivolve through battle without inciting another conflict. With 12 base characters and 32 total forms, players can select from a diverse cast of digital monsters spanning from the Digimon Adventure series up to Digimon Fusion. During tournaments, players can even power-up their Digimon by Digivolving mid-battle to gain the upper hand.
Few other details were given other than the inclusion of a Versus Battle mode, but you can expect more news to come before the release of Digimon All-Star on PS3 and Xbox 360.
