With today's Wii U eShop release of Mega Man Battle Network, Capcom made an announcement via capcom-unity about there plans for their month of August. Taking a similar approach as they did in "Mega May," Capcom will release another Virtual Console title from the Mega Man franchise each Thursday in August.

The four games chosen for release will come from the NES, SNES, and GBA libraries. They are Mega Man 5, Mega Man 6, Mega Man X3, and Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge. While each game will release on a Thursday, Capcom has decided to keep the release order a mystery.

While several of the listed games have been re-released in the past on Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo consoles, this will be the first time that Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge has been released outside the GameBoy Advance.
