New footage of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain was revealed today at Tokyo Game Show. Hideo Kojima took the stage to show the 20 minute demo and announce that the game will launch in 2015.
The demo begins with Snake sneaking through a jungle area, he takes out a few enemies by using a mine that popped out an inflatable lookalike of Snake to distract them while the real Snake sneaked behind them and knocked them out with an electric stunner on his fist. He then attaches the enemies a helium balloon, which takes them out of sight.
Snake then proceeds to use his machine gun to kill several enemies. It's at this point that sniper Quiet joins the action, assisting Snake by providing overwatch and cover fire. One such example shown in the video is when the helicopter appears. While Quiet is shooting at it and getting its attention, Snake gets to finish off the helicopter by using a rocket launcher.
Konami has also released the TGS trailer of the game, whic you can see below. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be available for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
