Nintendo has announced that the New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL models will launch in Australia and New Zealand on the 21st of November. Nintendo's new handhelds will release in these territories just a month after its debut in Japan.
Both models will be region locked just like other Nintendo 3DS systems, which means that European players can import either models since it will be compatible with European games. The New Nintendo 3DS will be available for $219.95 AUD, while the New Nintendo 3DS XL will cost $249.95 AUD.
The New Nintendo 3DS and 3DS XL will feature an upgraded CPU, which will considerably boost the handheld's performance. Other additions of these models include an improved 3D support, a second analogue stick, a built-in NFC support, and additional ZR and ZL shoulder buttons.
Both handhelds are scheduled to launch in North America and Europe sometime next year.
