XSEED Games has announced that they will be releasing their beat-em-up action title, Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus, next month in both North America and Europe.
The game directly follows the events of Senran Kagura Burst, revisiting the fierce rivalry between the girls of HanzÅ National Academy and their sworn enemies from Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy, the latter of which have now gone underground and formed a mercenary strike team known as the Homura Crimson Squad. In addition to their old adversaries, the HanzÅ girls must also face a whole new set of foes: the students of Gessen Girls' Academy, who seek to punish them for their shortcomings as shinobi warriors.
The game will be available in North America on October 14 with the European release following shortly thereafter on October 15. The game is available digitally in both regions, but for those wanting a physical version of the game there's a special "Let's Get Physical" limited edition version in North America that includes the game, soundtrack CD and a 140-page "Shinobi Syllabus" that includes artwork and character strategies.
The digital version is $39.99 and the physical version is $49.99. Europeans will be able to buy the game for €29.99.
