Assassin's Creed Unity and Assassin's Creed Rogue are releasing this November, but this doesn't stop Ubisoft from announcing a brand new title, Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China. The game will be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC in early 2015.
Unlike previous Assassin's Creed titles, this new entry in the series is described as a 2.5D side-scrolling title. The game takes place in 16th century China and stars Shao Jun, the last remaining assassin of the Chinese Brotherhood. After being trained by Ezio Auditore, Shao Jun returns to Beijing to seek revenge against those that destroyed her Brotherhood.
"Experience an entirely new setting for the franchise in a beautifully stylized world inspired by traditional brush paintings. Shao Jun's powerful martial arts skills and new Assassin gear like the Jian Sword and the Foot Blade will allow her to eliminate her targets from the shadows or take on groups in all-out combat. Explore legendary landmarks like the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City and encounter famous historical figures in this new 2.5D digital download title," says Ubisoft.
A price for the title has yet to be revealed.
