Following the release of the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. last week, Nintendo has now announced the release date for the game's Wii U version. The game will be available for Wii U on the 21st of November in North America and on the 5th of December in Europe.

Two bundles will be available for the release of the game on Wii U: a bundle that includes a copy of the game and a Mario amiibo toy, and a bundle that includes a copy of the game and a GameCube Controller Adapter. Players will also be able to purchase the GameCube Controller Adapter separately.

In addition, 18 Amiibo figurines, separated in two waves, will be available to purchase. The first wave includes Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Link, Fox, Samus, Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, Pikachu, Kirby and Marth, and will be available to purchase on the 28th of November. The second launches on the 19th of December and it will include Zelda, Diddy Kong, Luigi, Little Mac, Pit and Captain Falcon.

Super Smash Bros. will be available separately for $59.99, while a price for the bundles has yet to be revealed. Along with this announcement, Nintendo has revealed a new trailer that not only features the game but also gives some highlight at the new Amiibo characters.
