The anime streaming service Crunchy Roll can now be downloaded free of charge on the Nintendo Wii U for North American audiences. While currently not available in other territories, Crunchy Roll promises that the app will come to the remaining Wii U owners sometime in 2015.

The services for the app follow much like they do for the Xbox One and PS4. Non-members will receive a free 14-day trial while existing members can immediately enjoy their favorite anime and Japanese dramas. Audiences aren't limited to anime already out in their country. Shows not normally available can be viewed as well though in their original Japanese language with subtitles to serve as translation.

Whether you're a die-hard anime fan or merely curious as to what all the fuss about Japanese TV is about, be sure to try out Crunchy Roll's app on the Nintendo Wii U.
