After being delayed for several years, Brandish: The Dark Revenant is finally going to launch in North America next week, on the 13th of January. The game will be available to purchase for PSP via PlayStation Store, which means that players will also be able to play it on PlayStation Vita.
Brandish: The Dark Revenant is a dungeon-crawling action RPG in which players play as Ares Toraernos, a swordsman that must climb his way through over 40 sprawling floors filled with monsters, traps and puzzles as he tries to escape from a long-forgotten underground labyrinth. While doing it he will have to face against Dela, a sorceress whose only interest is claiming the bounty on his head.
The game was originally released in North America in 1995 for SNES. The PSP remake features smoother gameplay, revamped boss battles, enhanced graphics, newly arranged music, and a new localization. Another addition of this version of the game is "Dela Mode," in which players will play as Dela in ten additional floors, each featuring harder enemies, crueler traps and even more maddening mazes.
Brandish: The Dark Revenant will be available to purchase for $19.99.
