Sony has just announced that they are introducing PlayStation Music with their new partnership with music streaming providers, Spotify. This partnership also means the closure of their already established Music Unlimited service.
PlayStation 4 owners will be able to listen to their favorite soundtracks in the background while playing games. More features will be announced closer to the launch of the service later this Spring.
Existing Spotify premium subscribers will be able to link their accounts to their PlayStation Network accounts.
PlayStation Music will be coming out for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Xperia Smartphones and Tablets this Spring. Music Unlimited will be closing on the 29th of March in all 19 countries its being provided.
