Back at E3 last year, Visceral Games stated that Battlefield Hardline would run at 1080p on both PS4 and Xbox One, something that might turn up to not be true after all. According to a statement from an EA PR, Battlefield Hardline might in fact render at the same resolution as Battlefield 4.
When asked if developers were targeting 1080p and 60fps on both consoles, EA told Games.on.net that their objective was to get both versions of the game "playing at 60 FPS using the same resolution settings as [Battlefield 4]". This would mean that Battlefield Hardline would run at 900p on PS4 and 720p on Xbox One.
Shortly after this, an EA representative told Videogamer.com that "this was said in an interview with Australian press, but we don't have any further comment on the subject." But considering that even the current multiplayer beta displays these same resolution settings, it seems likely that Battlefield Hardline won't achieve 1080p on either console.
Battlefield Hardline will be available for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC, on the 17th of March in North America and on the 20th of March in Europe.
