Square Enix has announced today the release date of the HD remastered versions of Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2. The HD collection launches in North America on the 12th of May and in Europe on the 15th of May.
According to Square Enix, the graphics of both games have been improved even further in comparision to the PS3 and PS Vita versions. The game will feature cross-save functionality and the option to choose between the original or rearranged music in Final Fantasy X HD.
In addition, there are also some special pre-order bonuses. In north America, those that pre-order the game at participating retailers or Square Enix Online Store will receive an exclusive calendar featuring artwork by Japanese artist and character designer Yoshitaka Amano. European players will get a steelbook with artwork by Amano by pre-ordering the game.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will be available on PS4 for $49.99/£39.99/â‚¬49.99.
