Persona 4: Dancing All Night hits store shelves in North American and Europe later this Fall, so since that release window is getting closer and closer, Atlus has released two new character-specific trailers as well as some new screenshots from the game for fans to enjoy.
Persona 4: Dancing All Night is a story-driven music game that takes place after the events in Persona 4. Players get pulled onto the Midnight Stage when the spotlight turns to mega-idol Rise and her junior group, Kanamin Kitchen. Members of Kanamin Kitchen have disappeared and it's up to the Investigation team to mount a rescue mission - only they discover the same monstrous Shadows from the Midnight Channel. To make matters even worse, their Persona abilities are rendered ineffective, and The Shadows in P4D can only be defeated by dance, so bust out powerful dance moves to save the day!
For those who have played Persona 4 Arena or Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will find things very familiar in this game, as it's presented in a similar visual novel-type format, which follows the Investigation Team as they solve the mystery behind the Midnight Stage and how it ties in to Rise and her junior group Kanamin Kitchen.
The first video showcases Rise, also known by her idol handle Risette. She needs the help of the Investigation Team to save her Junior Idol group, Kanamin Kitchen when they go missing. Rise calls upon her old friends to go into the Midnight Stage and take on the Shadows that dwell within.
The second video showcases Yu Narukami. Once Rise sends out the call for help, Yu and the rest of the Investigation Team are more than eager to help out. So Yu leads the rest of the investigation team as they bust out some crazy dance moves to help fight off the Shadows.
Persona 4: Dancing All Night will be released later this Fall in North America in both a special launch edition edition for $49.99 and a "Disco Fever" edition for $79.99, the content of both you can find out in this earlier news post. NIS America will be releasing the game over in Europe in both a normal and similar "Disco Fever" edition later this Fall.
