Activision has released a brand new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops III, a trailer that shows off what players can expect from the beta that launches next week. Along with the trailer, Activision also revealed more information about the beta, including game modes, maps and Specialists.

Starting with the maps, Activision has revealed that there will be three maps in the beta: Hunted, Combine and Evac. You can get more details about each map below:

  • Hunted: This big game hunting lodge is situated beneath a waterfall in the lush mountains of Ethiopia, where rugged terrain opens up to long sightlines and a stealthy underwater pathway.
  • Combine: Set in the remote Egyptian Sahara, this vertical farming and sustainability research facility plays fast and frenetic with tight interiors, an open middle and a dangerous flank path.
  • Evac: An abandoned emergency evacuation zone atop an overgrown rooftop in the middle of Singapore's flooded quarantine zone.

The seven game modes that will be featured in the beta are: Team Deathmatch, Domination, Demolition, Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint, Capture the Flag and Search & Destroy. The trailer also teases the possibility that more maps and game modes will be added later.

Finally, there will be four Specialists available from start, which are Ruin, Outrider, Prophet and Battery. As players rank up to levels 22 and 28, they will unlock Seraph and Nomad, respectively. Activision also confirmed that Specialists Spectre and Reaper will be added during the beta. Each Specialist has its "own look, personality, voice, battle-hardened weapons and abilities."

The Call of Duty: Blacks Ops III beta will be available exclusively to those that pre-ordered the game. The beta starts on the 19th of August on PS4, and on the 26th of August on PC and Xbox One.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III launches worldwide on the 6th of November on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
