Nintendo has announced that Xenoblade Chronicles X will release in both North America and Europe on the 4th of December.
Considered a spiritual successor to Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii, Xenoblade Chronicles X is an action role-playing game with an emphasis on open-world exploration, where there are no restrictions on where you want to explore. The game's story begins in 2054, with two alien races engaging in battle near Earth, which forces humanity to evacuate the planet. The story follows one of the American evacuee ships that ends up crashing on Planet Mira, as the survivors of the crash try to establish their new home while still being hunted by on the alien races.
Xenoblade Chronicles X will be available on Wii U for $59.99. Nintendo has also revealed 2 bundles for European countries: a Wii U Premium Pack, which contains a black premium Wii U, physical copy of the game, an Artbook and a World Map poster, and a Limited Edition Pack that comes with a physical copy of the game, SteelBook cover, World Map poster, Cover Art Poster and the Artbook.
