Psyonix has announced that Rocket League's second DLC, Revenge of the Battle Cars, will release on the 13th of October.
Revenge of the Battle Cars includes 2 new classic SARPBC cars (Scarab and Zippy), 12 new decals, 3 new paint types, 2 new wheels, 2 new rocket boosts, 4 new toppers, 2 new antennas and new Trophies/Achivements. Free content is also releasing along with this DLC, including a night variation of Urban Station and a dusk variation of Utopia Coliseum, and new Community and Country flags.
On a side note, the developer has revealed thats lots of players still play Rocket League, with the game hosting over 750,000 players a day. "We have quite a few players logging in to play the game still 11 weeks after the fact, so we're really encouraged by that," said Psyonix VP of marketing and communications Jeremy Dunham.
"One thing we found interesting overtime is that the gap between PlayStation and PC users is getting closer. PS users are still by far the majority, because the PS audience was able to get it for free that month. But overtime the PC users are definitely closing that gap, and that's really encouraging."
"We're also finding that people in general are playing the game a little bit more. We're seeing a higher amount of time spent with the game now than we did in August, for example. So those are all encouraging numbers, and we're hoping it continues on down the rout."
Revenge Of The Battle Cars will be priced at $3.99.
