Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have announced that Rise of the Tomb Raider will release on PC on the 28th of January. Along with the release date, a Digital Deluxe edition and a Collector's Edition were also revealed.
The PC version of the game was developed by Crystal Dynamics and Nixxes Software, and it will support 4K resolution. "PC players are a passionate, devoted audience and we know they'll embrace the version created for their systems," said Ron Rosenberg, co-Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics.
Here are the game's minumum system requirements:
- OS: Windows 7 64bit
- Processor: Intel Core i3-2100 or AMD equivalent
- GPU: NVIDIA GTX 650 2 GB or AMD HD7770 2 GB
- RAM: 6 GB
- HD Space: 25 GB
- DirectX: DirectX 11
- Input: Mouse + Keyboard
In addition to the standard edition, a Digital Deluxe edition and a physical Collector's Edition will also be available. The Digital Deluxe edition includes the game and its Season Pass, with the latter giving players access to "nearly all current and future DLC" that's going to be released for the game. The Collector's Edition comes with the game, the Season Pass, a 12-inch Lara Croft statue, replicas of Lara's journal and jade necklace, and a steel case.
The standard edition will be available to purchase through Steam, the Windows Store, Amazon and the Square Enix e-store for $59.99/£39.99/49,99â‚¬, while the Digital Deluxe Edition will be priced at $89.99/£59.99/â‚¬79.99. As for the Collector's Edition, it will be available on the Square Enix e-store for $149.99/£109.99/â‚¬129.99.
