The Linux and Mac versions of Batman: Arkham Knight, which were set to release sometime this Spring, have been cancelled, Warner Bros. has announced. The publisher didn't provide an explanation about this, but has assured that those who pre-ordered the game can request a Steam refund.
"We are very sorry to confirm that Batman: Arkham Knight will no longer be coming to Mac and Linux," Warner Bros. wrote in a community post on Steam. "If you have pre-ordered Batman: Arkham Knight for Mac or Linux, please apply for a refund via Steam."
We can probably assume that these versions were cancelled due to the fact that the PC version of the game remains sort of unplayable on the system even after several patches were released. Going by this, it's more than likely that the game would suffer from the same issues on Linux and Mac.
