Although Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen had previously skipped a PC release, the game's recent launch on the platform has become a huge success for Capcom. The publisher revealed that the game not only became one of its best-selling PC releases, but also the fast-selling game on PC thus far.
"We are extremely pleased with the performance of Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen," marketing director Antoine Molant told MCV. "It is our fastest-selling PC title to date, thanks to an audience eagerly waiting for it, and us delivering to the level of quality gamers were expecting.
"Based on a similar sales period, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is in the Capcom's Top Three PC releases after these few weeks, along with Resident Evil and Dead Rising 3."
The game's success on PC is great news for those waiting for a sequel, as Capcom has previously stated that Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen's success on PC could increase chances for a sequel. You can check our review to find out more about the game.
