After waiting for nearly a decade, Square Enix has announced yesterday at the Uncovered Final Fantasy XV event that Final Fantasy XV will release worldwide on the 30th of September. Along with other surprises, Square Enix has also released new trailers and revealed the game's Deluxe Edition and Ultimate Collector's Edition.
Starting with the Deluxe Edition, this edition comes with a copy of the game, an exclusive steelbook case, the Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV movie and some bonus DLC content. The bonus DLC includes an exclusive car recolor, Royal Raiment costume, and a Masamune weapon. The Deluxe Edition is available for pre-order for $89.99/£69.99/â‚¬89.99.
As for the Ultimate Collector's Edition, it will be available exclusively on the Square Enix Store for $269.99/£189.99/â‚¬269.99. There will only be 30,000 copies of this edition, so be sure to get it as soon as possible if you are interested in it. This edition includes a copy of the game, a Hardcover 192 page artbook, two exclusive steelbook cases, the Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV animated series, Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV movie, a Play Arts Kai figure of Noctis, soundtrack of the game and the movie, the bonus DLC content and in-game item packs.
There's also going to be a Day One edition, which contains the Masamune DLC weapon. In addition, those that pre-order any of the game's edition from the Square Enix store will receive a exclusive postcard set.
