Uncharted 4 certainly looks like it will be one of the best looking games out there when it releases. Despite this, the game's Lead Designer Ricky Cambier believes that there's room for improvement on what can be done on PS4.
"There are definitely areas that I can see that we will be able to do better things already, after this," Cambier told DualShockers. "You know, we have some really smart programmers at Naughty Dog, and I'm always pretty surprised of what they can do.
"I think it was easier to get things up and at a certain level here, and we have some ideas that we'll work on in the future.
"I have a hard time seeing that it will take the same evolutionary jump as you know"¦ the difference between the first Uncharted versus The Last of Us is enormous. But there is no doubt that the next thing we do, we're gonna get even more out of that PlayStation."
DualShockers also clarified that Cambier was talking about the current PS4, and not the rumored PS4 4K. It remains unknown what Naughty Dog's next title will be, with a strong candidate being the sequel to The Last of Us. All we know is that Naughty Dog is currently working only on Uncharted 4, with other projects only being 'ressurected' once the Uncharted 4 Story DLC is complete.
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End releases worldwide on the 10th of May.
