Gameplay footage of the upcoming detective game Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter has appeared online, courtesy of AGB.
This footage introduces us to one of the game's cases, allowing us to get a glimpse at the new gameplay mechanics. One of these is the ability to free roam the streets of Victorian London, a gameplay element that was never featured before in the series. This addition gives players the best of investigation, action and exploration, while also providing completely new gameplay segments such as trailing a suspect and attempting to remain unseen.
Despite these additions and changes, Frogwares has assured that we can expected the usual puzzle-solving and occasional reflex-based action sequences from previous games.
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter releases on the 27th of May on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
