Microsoft started its press conference with official announcement of the Xbox One S, a smaller version of the Xbox One.
The new console is 40% smaller than the original Xbox One, it features an IR blaster and integrated power supply, and will output 4K video. There will be three diferent editions of the Xbox One S, with the only difference being the HDD capacity. A 2TB Xbox One S will be available for $399, while the 1TB Xbox One S can be purchased for $349, and the standard 500 GB Xbox One S for $299. A redesigned controller featuring Bluetooth and proprietary wireless support has also been revealed, and will be available for $59.
The Xbox One S and the redesigned controller will launch this August.
