"With all the new innovation we've seen and experienced with Microsoft's new Xbox One S console, we anticipate this creating excitement among our customers," said Puzon. "The new sleek design and the ability to watch Blu-Ray movies and stream video in 4K Ultra HD with HDR is sure to make the new Xbox One console one of our most sought after products when it launches later this year."
The new console is 40% smaller than the original Xbox One, it features an IR blaster and integrated power supply, and will output 4K video. There will be three diferent editions of the Xbox One S, with the only difference being the HDD capacity. A 2TB Xbox One S will be available for $399, while the 1TB Xbox One S can be purchased for $349, and the standard 500 GB Xbox One S for $299.
