After several rumours and leaks, 2K has officially confirmed that a BioShock collection is in development for PS4, Xbox One and PC. This collection includes remastered versions of BioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite.

According to 2K, all three games will run at 1080p and 60fps on PS4 and Xbox One. Weapons, plasmids, levels, and character models have been reskinned and retextured to match the standard of current-gen consoles. Unfortunatelly, BioShock 2 won't feature its multiplayer component.

All single-player DLC released for the games will be included in this collection. In addition, the collection also includes a never-before-seen video series, Director's Commentary: Imagining BioShock. PC gamers who already own BioShock and BioShock 2 will be able to download the remastered versions for free.

BioShock: The Collection releases on the 16th of September.
