Ubisoft has unveiled Bounty Hunter, a PvP mode in Watch Dogs 2 that lets you hunt down your fellow hackers when they attract too much police attention.
If you create too much chaos in the single player open world experience, such as killing innocent people, a bounty will be placed on your head. With the police already on your tail, up to three other players may enter your game and join the pursuit to hunt you down. The objective is to survive long enough to break your pursuers' line of sight and escape. You also have the option to take down the other players for bigger rewards, but you can't be too greedy as dead hunters will just be replaced by new players. Additionally, players can manually trigger a bounty on themselves using the Contacts app on Marcus' in-game phone.
Making a return in Watch Dogs 2 is the fan-favourite from the previous game, Online Hacking. In this mode the objective is to hack and download data from a target player without attacking and while remaining undetected. Your target will be notified that their being hacked, so you will have to do your best to hide from their sight.
Another addition to Watch Dogs 2 is its cooperative mode. The game will allow two players to team up seamlessly and explore the San Francisco Bay Area or participate in cooperative missions. Players can also play together during Online Hacking and Bounty Hunter activities, adding even more depth and excitement to their seamless online experience.
Watch Dogs releases on the 15th of November on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
