Just as promised, Activision and Infinity Ward showcased the multiplayer of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare during Call of Duty XP. You can check out our impressions on the multiplayer here.
Activision also revealed that the multiplayer beta will start on the 14th of October on PS4, with Xbox One following afterwards. Unfortunately, PC players will be left out as the beta will only be available on consoles. Only those who pre-order the game will get access to the beta.
In addition, Activision announced that those who purchase Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on PS4 will receive Jackal Assault, a PlayStation VR experience, for free.
"The first-ever Call of Duty PlayStation VR experience, will be offered later this year to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare players on PS4 as a free, added bonus," said Activision. "Jackal Assault immerses fans in the cockpit and puts them in control of a Jackal, the personal fighter jet in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Fans attending Call of Duty XP will get the chance to play Jackal Assault on-site at the event."
While the main focus of the Call of Duty XP event was the multiplayer of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Activision also released a gameplay video for the game's campaign. You can check the trailer below, but beware as there might be some spoilers.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare releases on the 4th of November on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
