South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been delayed into 2017, Ubisoft has announced. According to the publisher, the game was delayed to make sure it meets "the high expectations of fans".
"South Park: The Fractured But Whole will now launch on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC, calendar Q1 2017," said Ubisoft. "The development team wants to make sure the game experience meets the high expectations of fans and the additional time will help them achieve this goal."
The Fractured but Whole takes place after the events of the first game, with players taking control of New Kid once again. He will be joined by Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman, as they all take on the role of superheroes to fight the criminals of the city.
Those who pre-purchase the digital version of the game will receive a digital copy of South Park: The Stick of Truth for free.
