Fans of the superstar vocaloid Hatsune Miku can rejoice, as Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone celebrates its release today on the PS4 in both North America and Europe. And to join in the festivities, publisher SEGA has released a launch trailer showcasing the game.
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone is the largest game in the series yet, with 200+ songs, 300+ costumes and of course Miku and all of her friends.
Future Tone is a collection of two song packages each priced at $29.99: 'Future Sound,' a collection of songs centered around the Project DIVA games and 'Colorful Tone' which collects songs related to the Project Mirai games and arcade songs. For those who can't get enough of the digital singer, there's a special discount price of $53.99 for those who purchase the bundle containing both packages. Pricing in Europe will be priced similarly to the US dollar pricing.
And for those who know about the Japanese release, the three Encore packs released in that territory will be released for $9.99 in the beginning of February, March and April respectively. If you want to get them all and at a reduced price, you can pick up the Season Pass for $24.99. There's also an Unlock Key similar to past games that can be bought on the PlayStation Store that will unlock all of the game's modules. Note that each Encore Pack contains a mixture of songs and modules to contribute to the overall Future Tone catalog.
