BioWare and Electronic Arts have released the fourth trailer in the Mass Effect: Andromeda's gameplay series. This time around, we get to learn more about the game's multiplayer.
Mass Effect Andromeda's multiplayer allows players to take on new adventures and challenges beyond the single-player campaign. Players can join forces with up to 3 other players, to survive escalating waves of enemies, complete a set of objectives and extract from the battlefield.
Before starting a mission, players needs first to choose a character kit. There are over 25 character kits, each with its own set of skills and abilities suited for different playstyles. From here you pick your loadout, which utilizes weapons from the Milky Way galaxy, the Helius Cluster, and Remnant weapons. More weapons and character kits will be added post-launch.
Although each character has its own skills and abilities, there are no class restrictions, meaning that any character can use any weapon. In addition, you can modify and upgrade weapons to give you an edge in combat. Before a mission starts, you can also use boosters, which grant additional attributes such as cryo ammo, increased shields, feater skills cooldown, extra XP, and more.
Mass Effect: Andromeda releases on the 21st of March in North America and on the 23rd of March in Europe.
