The European branch of the Square Enix Online Store is reprinting the PS3 version of the original NieR. Square Enix is re-releasing the game to celebrate the success of NieR: Automata, which has already sold over 1 million copies on PS4 and PC.

NieR is a spin-off from the Drakengard series, and was released back in 2010 on PS3 and Xbox 360. The game follows the fifth ending of the original Drakengard, which have left the planet Earth in a state of decay. Set over one thousand years after this, the game puts the player in control of the titular protagonist Nier, as he attempts to find a cure for an illness, known as the Black Scrawl, to which his daughter Yonah has succumbed.

While a release date has yet to be revealed for the European NieR reprint, the game is curretly available for pre-order and is priced at £24.99/€29.99.
