PlayStation Plus Prices Increasing Next Month In Europe, Australia And New Zealand

Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed that it is increasing the price of PlayStation plus subscriptions in Europe, Australia and New Zealand starting August 31.

Here's the list of price changes across Europe, Australia and New Zealand:

United Kingdom

  • Twelve-month subscription: Price will change from £39.99 to £49.99
  • Three-month subscription: Price will change from £14.99 to £19.99
  • One-month subscription: Price will change from £5.99 to £6.99

Europe

  • Twelve-month subscription: Price will change from €49.99 to €59.99
  • Three-month subscription: Price will change from €19.99 to €24.99
  • One-month subscription: Price will change from €6.99 to €7.99

Australia

  • Twelve-month subscription: Price will change from $69.95 to $79.95
  • Three-month subscription: Price will change from $27.95 to $33.95
  • One-month subscription: Price will change from $9.95 to $10.95

New Zealand

  • Twelve-month subscription: Price remains unchanged ($89.95)
  • Three-month subscription: Price will change from $32.95 to $39.95
  • One-month subscription: Price will change from $11.95 to $12.95

Sony stated that it's changing the pricing in order to reflect various market conditions while enabling the company to continue providing exceptional value to its members. As you probably know, a PlayStation Plus subscription is necessary in order to play games online. PS Plus members also have access to two PS4 games every month, new PlayLink social party game That's You! as a bonus game until 25th October, exclusive discounts, and 10GB online storage for game saves.
