After PS4 and Xbox One players got their chance to try out Destiny 2, the time has finally come for players on PC. The PC beta begins today, August 29th, and will run until Thursday, August 31st.

The Destiny 2 beta will allow players to experience the game's opening story mission, Homecoming. Players can try out some of the game's cooperative and competitive modes. This includes the "Countdown" and "Control", each on a unique map, as well as the "The Inverted Spire" strike. Unfortunately, the beta won't support Destiny 2's Clan features, and your character progression won't carry over to the full game. Those who participate in the beta will get a special emblem.

In addition, Bungie released a new trailer for Destiny 2 titled "What is Destiny 2?". Just like its name indicates, the trailer explains what the game is all about.

Destiny 2 releases on the 6th of September on PS4 and Xbox One, and on the 24th of October on PC.
