250GB HDD For Xbox 360 Hitting Japan in March

Microsoft has announced that the 250GB hard drive for Xbox 360 will be released in Japan on March 11, 2010. This stand alone HDD will be offered with a price tag of 15 540 Yen which is the equivalent of about $170 USD, yet there has been no word on a North American release.
Along with the hard drive, Microsoft also announced that they will be releasing the wireless controller game pack and wireless N adapter on the same date. Both of these products however have already seen release in the west
This 250GB model will be the largest hard drive offered for the 360 to date and has previously appeared only once in the Modern Warfare 2 Elite bundle. No announcements were made as to whether or not this hard drive will see European or North American shores by itself, but chances are it will eventually become available knowing the previous track record on hard drives.
