2K Announce New Xbox 360 Exclusive, XCOM, By BioShock Team
2K Games have announced today that they're revitalising the X-Com franchise, by handing over the reins to 2K Marin, who're come to recent prominence due to their handling of the BioShock franchise.
X-Com was traditionally a PC only game, which was based around team-based strategy, although the last two iterations, X-Com Interceptor and X-Com Enforcer, also included real-time space combat and third-person shooting. 2K Marin will now take it into the first-person shooter domain.
The game will centre around an FBI agent tasked with eliminating a global threat and he'll be doing it exclusively on the Xbox 360 and PC platforms.
