Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood PS3 Performance Should Match Xbox 360

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood PS3 Performance Should Match Xbox 360 Performance has always been a bit of a contentious issue with the Assassin's Creed franchise, as the Xbox 360 has generally been the more dominant console.

The original game had a much lower frame rate on the PlayStation 3 and while it was a bit closer with Assassin's Creed 2, the Xbox 360 still had the edge.

With Brotherhood, Ubisoft Montreal are hoping the experience on both is much closer, as we found out when we spoke to Julien Laferriere, a production manager on the game:

"The more games we ship, the better we are with the hardware. So our goal is to provide a seamless experience across all platforms. I certainly hope we levelled the differences between the consoles."

Promising news, but we'll find out for sure when the game ships in a few weeks time.
