Resident Evil 6 X Left 4 Dead 2 Is A DLC Crossover Similar the trend of crossovers that seem to happening by every popular gaming company these days, Capcom and Valve will have Resident Evil 6 X Left 4 Dead 2. Although this isn't a full game as Left 4 Dead 2 enemies will be in the PC version of Resident Evil 6 and Resident Evil 6 enemies will be in the PC version of Left 4 Dead 2. This content will be absolutely free for owners of both games.

The survivors from Left 4 Dead 2- Coach, Nick, Elllis and Rochelle-will be playable in Resident Evil 6 on PC in Mercenaries: No Mercy mode. Two of the L4D enemies— the Witch and Mini Tank—will be in this mode as well. This additional content will be automatically downloaded to the PC version of RE6 beginning April 5th.

On the other hand, the PC version of Left 4 Dead 2 will receive the Lepotitsa, Napad and Ogroman enemies straight from Resident Evil 6. All of these three enemies will be depicted in the game with Valve’s Steam Workshop tools. The enemies will be available sometime this Spring.

Chet Faliszek from Valve commented on the crossover project stating,'We’re huge Resident Evil fans, so when the opportunity arose to work directly with Capcom to combine L4D2 and RE6, we jumped at it.'

Producer of Resident Evil 6 Yoshiaki Hirabayashi had this to add, 'The Resident Evil 6 team really enjoyed working on this crossover, and we’re confident that our fans will have a great time with it too! We hope you enjoy this unique content.'

Resident Evil 6 X Left 4 Dead will be available as free DLC for the PC versions of RE4 and L42 this spring. Check out the first batch of screenshots below to get a better feel of this interesting collaboration.
