E3 2010: Vanquish Hands-On PreviewTue, Jun 29th, 2010, 9:01 pm (EST) BY COLINIf you thought that the shooter genre was over saturated with just too many of them, and that Vanquish is just another rehash, think again. E3 2010: Bulletstorm Hands-On ImpressionsTue, Jun 22nd, 2010, 6:31 pm (EST) BY JORDAN DOUGLASBulletstorm, from developers People Can Fly and Epic Games, is an upcoming first-person shooter that rewards players for killing in a creative, sadistic way. Being built on the Unreal Engine, in close collaboration with Epic, has given Bulletstorm a very familiar presentation - it looks strikingly similar to Gears of War, albeit at a much quicker pace. While the core "skillshot" mechanics are entertaining, the limited move-set in the demo makes the game's staying power uncertain. More » |

Applications, useless video options, expensive peripherals, anyone who owns (or knows about) a Wii can already guess what's coming from Microsoft. But what about the games? We don't think that Microsoft will leave us hanging, at least not too badly. |

Tecmo and Koei are both storied Japanese game publishers responsible for iconic franchises such as Dead or Alive, Ninja Gaiden, and Dynasty Warriors. In 2009, the two companies announced plans to merge, which isn't as interesting as it may sound because nothing really changed. As for E3 2010, well, the publisher hasn't publicly released much information on its lineup at this point, allowing us to let our minds run wild with speculation. A new Ninja Gaiden?
