E3 2010: Blacklight Tango Down Hands-On Preview

Although it doesn't look like it at a first glance, Blacklight: Tango Down is actually a game being developed for the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. It really is a testament to the guys at Zombie Studios, as they've really tried hard to make a top-draw title while limiting themselves to not being a full retail title. Ignition Entertainment obviously believe in this too as they announced in March 2010 that they would be publishing the title. And why not? Considering it's going to be available to download at a cut price, it really seems like a bargain. More »

Arc Rise Fantasia Brought Down By Subpar Localization

After being released last year in Japan and switching between two publishers in North America, Arc Rise Fantasia is set to be released on the Wii this Summer by Ignition Entertainment. The publisher, who is mostly known for a noticeable lack of attention to detail in their translations, made many people wonder how the game would turn out after they announced they would be taking over publishing duties for the title from XSEED Games. Earlier this month the publisher released the first gameplay videos with English voice actors after announcing a few weeks earlier that the game would only include an English dub instead of being a dual-language release. As many expected, the results didn't stray far from their expectations for the title. More »

At yesterday's pre-E3 The King of Fighters XII event, just-off Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, Gaming Union had the opportunity to get some hands-on time with the game, and also interview KOF12 publisher, Ignition Entertainment.

Earlier today at a nice event in Los Angeles, Gaming Union had a chance to check out the latest build of The King of Fighters XII on PlayStation 3. Having originally been released in Japan over a year ago, it's now being released simultaneously on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 worldwide. The current release date is July 16, 2009 and Ignition Entertainment are publishing the game in North America. More »
