id Software, the iconic team behind the Wolfenstein, Doom and Quake franchises, is currently working on their first new IP in over a decade, RAGE. The upcoming cross-genre title, largely considered a first-person shooter with driving and open world elements, was recently given a firm release date of September 13th, 2011 in North America. The Hardened and Prestige Editions for Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops game is out and about, ready for those diehard military gear fanatics to start hitting those preorder buttons. Much like Modern Warfare 2's collectors bundles, Black Ops' own bundles come packed with a bunch of goodies, except instead of night vision devices this time around, Activision's packing in the surveillance R/C car of explosive doom as seen in the multiplayer trailer released a couple of days ago - minus the explosive doom, of course. |

Back in 1997, Nintendo 64 owners were crowded round their TVs either shooting each other with golden guns or happily slapping Oddjob around for being too short. Goldeneye was the definitive multiplayer experience for console owners with literally nothing to compete with it. But now, more than a decade later, Nintendo have decided to update the game with a new story, new setting and a new Bond with the help of developer, Eurocom.
