Capcom Announces Monster Hunter 3 Portable

Monster Hunter fans rejoice, because Capcom has just announced that they are working on the next PSP Monster Hunter, and it will be coming to Japan, North America, and Europe later this year.

Monster Hunter has become a smashing success in Japan, where over 40 million copies total in the franchise have been shipped, including the North American and European versions of the games. While not quite as popular in North America and Europe, the franchise has done reasonably well, with the latest console entry, Monster Hunter 3, coming to both regions this Spring. More »

Wii Classic Controller Pro Coming to US With Monster Hunter Tri

Capcom and Nintendo have announced that the Wii Classic Controller Pro will be coming to North America. The controller, which up to now has been a Japanese exclusive, is a upgraded version of the original Wii Classic Controller released a few years ago, which features a second row of shoulder buttons and hand grips. Unlike the last iteration, the controller can now plug directly into the Wii Remote. More »

The Monster Hunter franchise is something of a power house, but when it was announced Monster Hunter 3 would have monthly subscription fees for online play in Japan, it raised a few eye brows.
