Tue, Aug 24th, 2010, 12:49 pm (EST) BY DARRYL

GamesCom: Time Crisis Razing Storm Hands-On

Mon, Aug 23rd, 2010, 8:14 am (EST) BY JAMIE FELTHAM

I wasn't exactly sure what to expect when I sat down to play Time Crisis Razing Storm, the latest entry in the franchise that also supports PlayStation Move. I haven't been too much of a fan of the light-gun genre ever since the Wii took away the appeal of a Guncon controller and replaced it with the Wii Zapper. You couldn't actually aim without a reticule on screen and that basically made it like playing with a mouse instead of an actual gun. More »

First Glimpse Of Tekken X Street Fighter

Fri, Aug 20th, 2010, 2:27 pm (EST) BY COLIN

You've seen the trailer for Street Fighter X Tekken, you've seen the playable demo as well as multiple screenshots. What you haven't seen is Namco's version of the fighting crossover, Tekken X Street Fighter. It's still in the very early stages of development, so early that Ryu's character model had to borrow Paul's wardrobe. It's looking pretty good thus far.

Enjoy the trailer, courtesy of GameTrailers, More »

Demon's Souls Sold Out In UK

Thu, Aug 5th, 2010, 12:39 am (EST) BY ADAM MA

Most definitely one of the best games of this generation, Demon's Souls has been fortunate enough to see release in the UK this past July. It's also apparently been fortunate enough to be a smash hit, 'selling out' all copies of the Black Phantom Edition. Hard to believe that is even possible, but apparently so. Only a few scattered copies remain across the UK. More »

Sat, Jul 24th, 2010, 4:15 pm (EST) BY COLIN

Big news for fighting game fans all over as the rumours look to be very true indeed. Capcom's announced at the San Diego Comic-Con that Street Fighter X Tekken is indeed in the works. Not to mention that it looks to play in that 2.5D plane, à la, Street Fighter IV.

Demon's Souls: Black Phantom Edition Review

Thu, Jul 1st, 2010, 8:59 pm (EST) BY DARRYL

Demon's Souls has been something of an anomaly. When the game was released over a year ago in Japan, expectations were quite low. It was a brand new game featuring gameplay from a niche genre; it also had very unforgiving gameplay. However, it became something of a cult hit and gamers from the West ended up importing an English version of the game from Asia - a lot of effort for just one game. Atlus USA saw the potential and brought it to North America, but it's taken this long to reach European shores courtesy of Namco Bandai. So, what's all the fuss about? More »
