Final Fantasy IX Coming To US PlayStation Store

Sony has confirmed, through the PlayStation Blog, that Final Fantasy IX will be coming to the US PlayStation Store "soon." The announcement follows the confirmation of a Japanese release coming on May 20th. A firm release date and price are still unknown at this point.

This announcement should come as no surprise considering two games in the acclaimed RPG franchise are already available as PSOne Classics - namely VII and VIII. Both of those games are selling on PSN for $9.99, so if the precedent continues IX will likely cost the same. More »

Naughty Dog's critically acclaimed title Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has sold 3.5 million copies worldwide, which makes it the fastest selling Sony first-party game ever according to Sony Computer Entertainment America's VP of Product Development Scott Rohde.
