4  Gran Turismo 5 Release Date Being Announced Soon Fri, Mar 12th, 2010, 9:30 pm (EST) BY DARRYL Gran Turismo 5's release date is becoming a bit of a saga, with prospective western release dates coming and going, and in the case of Japan, actual release dates coming and going. 7  'Don't Use Your PS3', Warns Sony Mon, Mar 1st, 2010, 12:50 pm (EST) BY DARRYL The PlayStation Network is having some serious problems right now, and it's being caused by an internal clock bug that's only present in models released before the PS3 Slim. In light of this, and because they're weary of the damage that could be done, Sony are urging consumers not to use their systems. A shortened version of the statement reads "if you have a model other than the new slim PS3, we advise that you do not use your PS3 system, as doing so may result in errors in some functionality, such as recording obtained Trophies, and not being able to restore certain data." 0  God of War 3 European Release Date Confirmed Fri, Feb 26th, 2010, 12:59 pm (EST) BY DARRYL God of War 3 is easily the most anticipated game on the PlayStation 3, but SCEE were keeping the game's release close to their chest. Up until now, they had only announced that they were "tracking" a prospective release date, and that date has now been confirmed as the official release date for God of War 3. The game, which will see the legendary Kratos appear on a next-gen console for the first time, is scheduled to be released on the 19th of March, 2010 in Europe. It will see a release just a few days earlier in North America, as SCEA announced it would be released on the 16th of March. More »
